Due to social and cultural pressures, we are often not taught how to stand with someone in their grief. How do we honor and remember their loved one and also show our support the person who is grieving?
Instead of worrying about the just-right thing to say or do at the just-right time, we encourage others to take the time to acknowledge someone’s loss. We want to make sending a heartfelt gift after a loss as easy as possible.

At the end of 2020 I had to say goodbye to my young dog, Olive. She had my whole heart and I was absolutely devastated by her untimely death. As I was struggling to work through my grief, I stumbled on the use of remembrance candles to honor the life of a loved one and process feelings of grief. I found so much comfort in lighting my candle whenever I felt sad or was missing her.
As a pet sitter, I gifted our clients with remembrance candles after their losses. They told us of their feelings of being sincerely cared for in their darkest days. They felt how much we truly cared. I knew I needed to share these heartfelt gifts with others who cared for their clients and loved ones like we do, and Memory Flame Candle Company was born.

Our candles are crafted by hand in small batches with 100% premium natural soy wax and cotton wicks. They are available in both unscented and a light sandlewood scent, and come in two sizes.
All candles come with a remembrance label which can be customized with the name of a loved one. As a pet sitter, I knew I wanted to create a candle that honored all losses in our life.
